What a difference a day makes! What a difference a PA makes!!!!
One day, recently, I sat down to see what I could do to take my business to the next level. As I looked at my website, workshops, client list, newsletter, I became more and more frustrated. What was holding me back? Two main issues came up for me. Firstly, because of my limited knowledge and understanding of computers and websites, I would spend hours in front of my computer trying to get it updated and change content and pages, and become more and more frustrated as nothing happened. Secondly, because of the time I was using unproductively to learn how to use a system I knew nothing about, I was wasting time that could be more productively and happily spent providing a service to my clients and my online community.
That was when I finally made the decision to get a PA. In the past, I had held the limiting decision that I could not afford it. That day, I blew that decision away, and decided that how could I NOT afford it. My frustration, and my trying to multitask, was costing me heaps in time, money, and lifestyle. So I picked up the phone, and with one phone call, made a massive change to my business and my health. I have just had the pleasure of spending the last two hours with my PA. My blog entry today, my updated website and my newsletter published last week, are all examples of her work.
So today, take one hour to look at where you are spending your time, and see if a PA can make a difference to your life and business as it has to mine. For small business owners, let me leave you with this question.
